Acrospire Muirfield Lantern Installations

Acrospire's Muirfield is similar in appearance to DW Windsor, Urbis and other heritage lighting designs. Perhaps that's what makes this lantern so desirable, it's simple design fits well and blends into heritage streets. They are starting to appear in various locations around the UK, replacing old heritage lanterns. They are quite versatile, being available between 8W-80W, for 4m-8m mounting-heights.

Ankerside, Tamworth

This one was fitted to a damaged column, previously supporting a DW Windsor Windsor running 100W SON. The old lantern was knocked off a while back, so it's nice to see a new lantern on the column!

The mini-photocell can be seen protruding from the lantern's canopy. The acorn also hasn't been tightened properly, causing the canopy to appear bent.

Birmingham

Some Muirfield lanterns are present on Charlotte Street, near St. Paul's Church, not to be confused with the Candela Light Boroughs in the background!
