ATP Alameda A Lantern Installations

The ATP Alameda A lantern is an extremely favourable post-top lantern for businesses and private ownership. This is due to it being corrosion resistant and the LED forms come with a comfort diffuser to stop glare from the LEDs, making it one of the few LED lanterns that comes with this as standard (and one of my favourite LED lanterns).

These examples are located adjacent to Sandy Way, Tamworth.

They run LED lamps, however this likely isn't their original lamp type, due to the lack of a diffuser, and the LED lamps stem from the base of the lantern. In the LED-sold version, the lamp is in the top canopy of the lantern, hidden by the diffuser.

I really do like how striking these lanterns look. On the 15th April 2024, I caught a glimpse of these lanterns day-burning. There's likely no fault here however, being that they are switched manually from within the building.
