BEGA 9504.1 Lantern Installations

BEGA's 9504.1 was the version of the 9101.1 for 50W high-pressure sodium or metal halide lamps. They feature a large three-ply opal glass sphere, an an aluminium top-spigot. Each lantern had an IP rating of IP44 when new.

These Bega 9504.1 globes are located along Smallbrook Queensway. Column 11 was photographed with it's ZX3 lantern at the top, and the Bega 9504.1 towards the bottom. These globes are believed to have run 50W SON before being retrofitted to LED.
