This version of the Urban Enclosed differs from the regular version, having a refractor-bowl instead of an internal refractor ring. The lantern was able to run 300W-500W GLS lamps, with top-entry and side-entry examples sold. The lantern's size was influenced by the lack of need for any gear, so they remained to be quite slim.

Birmingham

A top-entry example of the BTH Urban Enclosed exists just-off Cornwall Road, Birmingham. It is believed to still be in operation to this day! It likely runs an LED lamp or a newer GLS lamp nowadays.
