Candela's Broadway lantern is a spherical lantern available in three sizes (500mm, 600mm and 700mm diameters). These are complemented with post-top (cradle) mounting, side-entry mounting or top-entry mounting. The customization options with this lantern are seemingly limitless, and this extends into a wide-range of lamp types: up to 70W compact fluorescent, up to 150W SON, metal halide and CDMT, 12W-72W LED or 45W-140W cosmopolis.

Lichfield

Lichfield City Centre uses the Candela Broadway in abundance. Most are post-mounted but some are wall-mounted such as the examples below:

This first example is top-entry, wall-mounted onto the building occupied by Francesco Group on Baker's Lane. It becomes immediately apparent that these have all been retrofitted from SON to LED, using LED cob lamps. I wonder if their SON gear is still in there, lying dormant inside... 

A side-entry version is wall-mounted just opposite on a Betfred building.
