Candela Light Trafford Lantern Installations

The Candela Trafford lantern can be sold for up to 150W high-pressure sodium, metal halide, mercury vapour or compact fluorescent. There doesn't appear (as of 2025) to be an LED version available to purchase on Candela's website, possibly due to the similar Harborne lantern already having one. These fixtures could be fitted post-top or top-entry.

Birmingham

The buildings along Fore Street hold six Candela Trafford lanterns. These are believed to be customised, owing to the slightly different design than the one on Candela's website.

Each lantern is on an ornate wall-bracket. I believe these examples to run SON lamps.

Tucked away on adjacent Warwick Passage are some post-top Candela Traffords, but these are still installed on wall-brackets.
