Coughtrie CPS16 Lantern Installations
The Coughtrie CPS16 was one of the most common bulkhead fittings in the UK. Their versatile mounting options and vigorous construction made it capable of being used in multiple applications, including: underpasses, staircases, car parks, social buildings, schools and a range of indoor and outdoor applications. PL, 2D or GLS could be used in them.

These CPS16s were spotted ceiling-mounted to an abandoned building off Lows Lane. Both appear to be in good condition! These are normally meant to be wall-mounted, hence the white wire-entry plug on the side of the body, but they could be ceiling-mounted too.
There were more of these bulkheads on the building, but they couldn't be photographed as the area was overgrown and difficult to access.
