The Kirium Mini was a luminaire that never really saw wide-spread usage across the UK, probably the reason for it's discontinuation. It was replaced by another series of lanterns named the Kirium Pro series which saw more success. It was advertised at the time as a luminaire to replace: SOX, CFL, SON and CosmoPolis lanterns on minor roads and pathways.

Crewe

The occasional Kirium Mini lantern appears around Crewe. This example is located just-off Lawrence Street.

The lantern is mounted post-top on a 5m Mallatite steel column.
