ELECO SR304 Lantern Installations

A rarity nowadays, the Silver Ray SR304 by ELECO was the design that later-inspired the Philips MA3. These incredible lanterns bore a strong-resemblance to the GEC Turtle. They were intended for mounting-heights of 8m or above, and ran either 250W or 400W MBF/U. They were remote-geared and side-entry only.

Situated on the grounds of Norvil Motorcycle Company Ltd, are three ELECO SR304s which probably ran 250W MBF/U. They contrast greatly to the modern LED lanterns:

Nowadays, the lanterns are probably obsolete, with floodlights fitted to the columns instead.
