Available with 6, 8 or 10 LED pods, the CityMax Large is futuristic-looking LED lantern for post-top mounting. Unlike the CityMax (the smaller-version) it is only a post-top lantern. This lantern was designed with excellent thermal-management, distributing heat from the drivers and LEDs evenly in all directions.

Morrison's, Tamworth

These Holophane CityMax (Large) lanterns are located in the Morrison's carpark, Tamworth. They replaced Tamlite Tamglobes on double-armed columns in 2022. In the below images, these lanterns can be seen lighting the carpark close-to and at night.

A close-up of one of the lanterns reveals the 6 LED pods within. This one, having been located under the trees, didn't take long to get covered in cobwebs. I quite like these lanterns, they look a lot like UFOs which makes these merge with my love of space.
