INDO AIR1 Lantern Installations

The INDO AIR1 Lantern is not exactly a looker. It is extremely small, but there's a reason for this. The lantern uses ground-breaking driverless technology, so there isn't much room for anything but a NEMA photocell socket and the LED board.

Fradley

Worthington Road, Fradley, has some unusual installations: concrete columns with side-entry Indo Air1s.

Another column on the same road:

Shuttington

Just outside of Tamworth, the small village of Shuttington uses several of these fitted with radio nodes instead of photocells. These are to remotely switch the lanterns on and allow dimming where necessary.

You can also clearly see the heat sink on the top of the lanterns.

Tamworth

They are used here occasionally. This example is installed on a 6m hinged column, on a footpath in Belgrave, Tamworth. It appears to have a Zodion SS6 Photocell.
