Nordex Plaza Lantern Installations
These lanterns took nearly a year to identify, and identification only came when I accidentally stumbled upon the catalogue while trying to identify another lantern. Intended for lighting: parks, shopping centres, roads and residential streets, the Nordex Plaza was available for use with 70W-150W SON, 70W-150W MBI or 80W-125W MBF lamps. Oddly, an empty version was also purchasable, presumably so customers could fit regular lamps inside. The diecast aluminium body was coated with polyester powder to resist corrosion. Some feature a wide rim but they could be bought without it for a slimmer appearance.

These exist on Watling Street (Adjacent to 118 Lichfield Street) and are privately owned. They are now retrofitted with LED lamps.
While the lantern's bodies are okay, the hats on most examples are severely corroded.
This installation appears to have suffered some vandalism, or possibly storm damage.
