Philips Luma 1 Lantern Installations

Originally launched by WRTL, and sold to Philips when WRTL went out of business. They feature up to 80 LEDs, and had an option between three lenses depending on the intended application. The Luma 1 (as well as the other Luma lanterns) had the option to be purchased with a Zodion SS12A minicell.

Some Luma 1s can be seen occupying high-masts around Dartmouth Circus. Odd, as they weren't designed for high-mast lighting; my main guess is this is down to the roads being mostly elevated above ground-level.

Most of them feature eight Luma 1s, with some supporting six.

A high-mast featuring two day-burners was visible in the distance:

I managed to get to the base of one of these high-masts. I struggled to get it completely in shot, I had to turn the camera vertical:

One of these lanterns had gone a bit wonky in the wind, spoiling the perfect form of the high-mast. Notice next to it the radio-node for operating the high-mast. All of the lanterns are connected to that radio-node.
