Philips Speedstar Lantern Installations

The Philips Speedstar isn't commonly seen in Staffordshire and from my knowledge they aren't made anymore. There may be newer designs that are still being produced.

A5, Tamworth

A section of the A5 in Tamworth uses them on double-armed columns in the central reservation of the dual carriageway. These were installed around 2012, and lasted right up until 2023, when the A5, Tamworth LED replacement scheme began, owing to the failing SGS306s. The replacement lanterns are CU Phosco P863s.
