Philips SRS421 Lantern Installations

This lantern was also sold as the Philips Milewide. The SRS421 was the medium-sized Milewide lantern. They were created for the use of 50W-150W SON-T, up to 250W CDO-TT, or up to 140W CPO-TW. They were rigid-aluminium in construction, and thus were very reliable lanterns. They were mildly-common, with examples seen scattered about the UK.

Birmingham

This example is on Station Street, but it isn't the only installation here.

They have a CPO-TW lamps inside.

The lamp is more apparent from head-on.

More examples of Milewide lanterns are present on Hill Street.

These lanterns compliment large hockey-sticks very well!
