Phosco P220/4 Lantern Installations
The Phosco P220/4 was originally designed for high-mast lighting, not ordinary street lighting, but it was later used as-such. 250W SON or 400W SON could be used in this fixture, with adjustable reflectors to distribute light accordingly with it's use. The lamp and reflectors can both be moved to achieve this effect.
Birmingham
Several 400W examples of the P220/4 line the A38 Queensway through Birmingham City Centre. This road is actually where four roads briefly meet to form an 8-lane carriage way, before splitting again shortly after. Column 5 is below:
As you can see, they are all in poor condition, with the bowls have been burned severely, and several dents have arisen in the canopies of the lanterns. Consequently, Urbis ZX3s, WRTL Airtrace 2s, Philips Lumas and Philips SGS203s have replaced most of them.

Column 8:
Near the King Edward VII Memorial is a single P220/4, rather than the double-armed brackets seen previously.
The bowl is yellowed, but the lantern surprisingly isn't vandalised.
Columns 29 and 28 of Suffolk Street, Queensway also support P220/4s, three in-total.
The P220/4 on column 28 is missing it's bowl. One of the lanterns has also been replaced with an SGS203.
