REVO Festival Lantern Installations

Running 4x80W MCF lamps, the REVO Festival (or C13428) was a rare post-top often used in city centres and around heritage areas. The gear was all mounted within the lantern on a central column. This left little room for an optic system, so they lacked any-sort such as a reflector. There was also no branding on the outside of the lantern.

Birmingham

Birmingham has 8 REVO Festivals on a small pedestrian square. Whether the original lamps remain is unknown. Six are visible below, with the other two being either-side of the camera.

I originally spotted just one of these. And then two, four, six and finally, all 8. Column P1 is pictured below:

Followed by P3:

The lantern in this one is rather mucky, and the other side of the bowl has been smashed.

Column P4:

Column P5 had a missing door, exposing the isolator within.

Despite this, the lantern was intact.
