REVO Spondon Lantern Installations

REVO Spondons weren't a common sight throughout the UK, but one area stands against this rule: Derby. These lanterns were used in abundance throughout the city, running GLS lamps until nearly all of them were removed in-favour of new lighting technology. They are extremely easy to identify due to their unique shape and two cast-iron arms supporting the canopy. The remaining examples are all privately-owned, having been saved when they were replaced.

Mayfield

One such example of a Spondon being saved is this example on Watery Lane. It appears to be missing it's enamelled reflector, and has been modified.

The time-clock compartment reads "The Newbridge Time Switch Bath".
