Tamlite Tamlane Lantern Installations
A striking looker, the Tamite Tamlane was a mildly popular HID lantern here in the UK, for use with 70W SON-I, 100W-150W SON-T, 125W MBF/U, 70W-100W MBI/E, or 250W HPI/T lamps. The Tamlane could be mounted side-entry or post-top, and had an option between deep-bowl or flat-glass (cut-off).
Tamworth
The Tamlite Tamlane lantern isn't a popular choice by contractors or the council here in Tamworth. Only a couple of them exist in a private carpark next to Rosy Cross. They run 70W SON. This one has a flat-glass bowl, a trait not shared by any of the other Tamlane lanterns in this carpark.
All of the other examples have a clear poly-carbonate bowl installed. They are mounted at a height of 4m on black, steel columns.
