Thorn Europhane's candle was not a common fixture here in the UK. Some examples did (and still do) exist, usually around modern city centres. Known lamp-types included: up to 150W high-pressure sodium or metal-halide and LED. The Candle had a small, cone-shaped reflector in the top of the luminaire to distribute light accordingly.
