Thorn Oyster Lantern Installations

The Thorn Oyster was a wildly popular bulkhead which used a 2D lamp. Earlier versions used GLS lamps, though these were not very popular. This bulkhead can often be spotted on the walls of apartment buildings.

This fixture is located on a building next to All Saints' Church, Long Eaton. Three more fittings were present, but lighting conditions weren't ideal for photographing.
