Urbis Abbey Lantern Installations

The Urbis Abbey is a classic design, based on original gas lanterns. It was sold in SON and MH form previously, but is now sold as an LED lantern. The new versions have IP ratings of IP66 (lamp) and IP44 (gear). Two spigots are available (known as the fabricated frog, and cast frog) as well as a cradle option in-which the lantern sits in a frame.

The pathways around St. Pauls Church boast some very unique versions of the Abbey. These are the rarer dark-sky version, but that is just one fact that makes them so special...

This is column 32, located round the north-west side of the church.

Notice anything special about the columns seen here?

Some of the columns are genuine REVO cast-iron columns! This is the second column in the picture above, and it supports an Urbis Regent rather than an Abbey, but it's the only picture I took of the bases of the columns. The closer column is also a REVO one.

Some more columns were photographed next to the church. Look very closely at the third lantern in the picture (the furthest away, next to the corner of the church).

Some of the lanterns themselves have quite a unique modification! Check out the halogen flood in the top of this one which lights the church at night:
