Urbis Hestia 2 Lantern Installations

The Hestia 2 is the larger of the Hestia lanterns by Urbis. They are now sold as the Hestia GEN2 for LED (documented separately). High-pressure sodium and metal halide versions (Such as CPO-TW or CDO-TT) were available, and for those older lanterns, an LED retrofit is offered by Indo Lighting for both the Hestia 1 and 2.

Leicester

Some Hestia 2s are present along Charles Street in Leicester. The lanterns are all fitted with 150W CDO-TT lamps.

Wood Lane, White City Living, is home to an installation of Hestia 2s on 10m hockey-stick columns. Despite the fact that these are LED, they are not the GEN2 version. The GEN2 version features a turret for the NEMA socket, where the original type does not. Instead, these were retrofitted from HID to LED using Indo retrofits - a common sight around London.
