Urbis Saturn 500 Lantern Installations

The Saturn 500 by Urbis was the smallest version of the Saturn globe lantern that was available, designed for mounting on columns 6m or below in height. Post-top, side-entry or pendant-mount versions were obtainable. These lanterns could run 50W-250W SON, 35W-150W metal halide, or 45W-145W cosmopolis lamps.

Some Urbis Saturn 500s are located along Westgate Close. There are three in total, but if you look very closely in the background, a black Holophane S-Line occupies the last column, as a spot-replacement for a late Saturn 500.

A minicell is visible poking out of the northern-hemisphere of the each lantern.
