MY COLLECTION: Dorman ConeLITE

LAMP TYPE LED
GEAR NOT REQUIRED
DATE OF MANUFACTURE UNKNOWN

This Dorman ConeLITE was found in the undergrowth behind South Staffordshire College Bus Stop, Tamworth. It's body is made from durable polypropylene, and the lens from polycarbonate. When I discovered the ConeLITE, it was covered in mud and full of spiders. It didn't take long to remove the dirt and spiders. Here's how it looked!

The battery compartment was full of mud and spines from the nearby trees, and the 6 Volt battery was corroded badly.

There should be a marker to indicate the circuit type, however, there doesn't appear to be one. It's either circuit type A or circuit type B, due to the presence of an LED in the lamp compartment.

The ConeLITE also has a switch inside the mounting compartment so that it automatically turns on once it is placed on the cone.
