This is the smallest size available of the WRTL Vectra, designed to run 50W or 70W SON, though this one runs 70W SON. This one was gifted to me by another collector, from AgentHalogen_87's collection. The bowl is available in flat-glass, curved tempered glass, and deep-polycarbonate. This lantern has option two. The lantern was cleaned-up just after receiving it on the 13/03/2024.
The bowl is easily removed by opening it, pushing it in and then sliding it out. The clip is also of great quality!
The NEMA photocell socket is located toward the back of the lantern, on the distinctive grey cover. The cover can be removed by gently pulling each side of it and then lifting it off.
Doing this reveals the prudently designed gear-area. It is held in by a strong metal clip, and is easy to remove for servicing.
The ballast is a MagneTek N70/50-24.2-34.
After cleaning, the lantern was re-assembled and fired up... (Although this picture is from when I fired it up for the first time after receiving it, so it doesn't look as glamorous!)
