Erskine Street, Birmingham

At first, this tree may seem inconspicuous. But, take a closer look! That isn't actually a tree, but a column! A tree has crept up and around it, using the column as a foundation. This installation is long-abandoned, featuring a rare REVO Precinct for MBF-U lamps! Due to it's disguise, the installation has avoided being vandalised like the other two on this stretch of pathway.

The top of the lantern can just-about be sighted peeping through the tree. I believe this installation still has it's lamp, refractor and bowl. This species of tree doesn't lose it's leaves in winter, so the installation remains hidden all-year-round.

Good luck servicing that! It is technically owned by Birmingham City Council, so a callout is possible despite it appearing abandoned, as this counts as column 1 of the footpath.
