Hatchett Lane, Edingale

Hidden down this quiet lane are a few installations which may not be noticeable at first glance. They have both recently had Holophane S-Line lanterns installed on them, but they still remain hidden. The first one is this wooden column which is now living again thanks to being consumed entirely by a tree. The metal arm of the bracket and lantern both protrude from the tree trunk.

The 14W S-Line replaced a Thorn Beta 2.

The second installation is easily visible in the autumn and winter, but when spring kicks in it disappears into the trees. A 6m column was installed down this end of the street to pick up the slack, but the residents wouldn't stop whining about where it was placed, and it was moved twice after installation.
