Bergo 2202 Lantern Installations

The Bergo 2202 was a mildly-rare vandal-resistant subway fixture. It could be mounted in the roof (2202), along the corners (2202C) or in/on the wall (2402B), running two 20W or 40W fluorescent lamps. The 40W fluorescent lamps would turn it from a 2202 to a 2402.

These Bergo 2202s were spotted on the 29th May 2024. There are nine total, all ceiling mounted, and all running two Philips Master TL-D 18W lamps.

The first to be photographed was lantern 4TC60, which had suffered some dirt-intake but was still running well!

4TC58 was visually in better condition than the previous example, but with the inclusion of what-appears to be two snails in the lamp area.

Followed in succession by 4TC53 and 4TC55:

4TC53 has had one of it's lamps reach EOL, yet it's the only lamp out of the eighteen in the tunnel to have done so.
