These were the original Denver lanterns by Holophane, with pole-mounted versions having also been available (documented separately). They were the Denver™ Elite Wall's predecessor, and could run high-pressure sodium and metal halide lamps. The wall-mounted version was not used as much as the pole-mounted one, but both were still a common sight.

A number of these lanterns are located around the subways in the City Centre, these are not original, and were used to replace 80W MBF/U Wallpackette IIs.
