Simplex Jupiter Lantern Installations

Also sold as the Relite Jupiter, Simplex's Jupiter came in two forms, the remote Jupiter and the integral Jupiter (Jupiter Major). They were very unpopular, and very few of them now remain. They could run 250W-400W MBF/U or 250W-400W SON lamps. These lanterns were side-entry only.

A remote-geared Simplex Jupiter is present on the site of Soho Foundry. It's missing a bowl and the lamp is clearly dead. It may have replaced a Mk.II REVO Horizon Lantern.

A Simplex Lighting sticker is present beneath the lantern's shoe. What may be a 250W MA/V lamp is installed inside.
