This lantern was very similar to the GEC Z9554, but it is the successor to the earlier REVO Hyperion B. They could run 135W SOX or 180W SOX, and never had a gear inside. The gear was located in the column's base. These lanterns were side-entry only.

Birmingham

This installation is located on St Paul's Road. It was disconnected back in July, when it was left to it's own devices. I presume it will be removed at some point in 2025, so I will keep an eye out. Also along the road previously were 180W Hyperion Cs and Philips MA60s.

The bowl has been fastened on, as both clips have failed. Also, look closely at the canopy. Notice anything odd? There are two photocells up there!

The base of the column has been stripped of it's gear and cutout.
